College of the Arts Recognition Ceremony Spring 2019

Congratulations on graduating!

Please register for the College of the Arts Recognition Ceremony, which will take place following the university's ceremony. Both ceremonies take place on Saturday, May 4. The college ceremony is in the University of Florida Phillips Center at 2:00 PM, and will recognize all College of the Arts bachelor's, master’s and doctoral students. All master's students will be hooded by a faculty member at this ceremony.

This event is free, but registration and tickets are required. Students may request up to 8 tickets for their guests.

While the Phillips Center has limited seating, we will do everything we can to accommodate your guests. If you know that you will need additional tickets beyond the 8 allocated per student, you will be able to request more when you register, and be placed on the waitlist for additional tickets. You will be notified by March 29 how many additional tickets we are able to provide you.

TIMELINE:

12:30 PM - Students assemble backstage at the Phillips Center

12:30 PM - Doors open for family & guests at the Phillips Center

1:00 PM - Open seating begins

2:00 PM - Ceremony begins

2:05 PM - Processional begins*

*Please note that no seating can occur during processional, we encourage your family & guests to arrive early.

Registration ends on March 1.

Students can pick up their tickets in person in the lobby of Fine Arts A on the following days/times:

• Monday, March 18th from 2:00-4:00

• Thursday, April 11th from 11:30-1:30

• Friday, April 26th from 10:00-12:00

Students who are unable to pick up their tickets during one of the times above can collect them on the day of the ceremony once they arrive to line up.

Please bring your ID, and note that tickets cannot be picked up by anyone other than the graduating student.
